My kindergarten students loved it. We talked about what it means to find your "it," what you love to do. This book could also be read during career day, especially if students do not know what they want to be when they grow up.

I try to be open minded when books involve strong faith and there have been books where I overlook that part of it but it was kind of shoved down your throat in this one.

A child struggles to decide the path they want to follow in life. The child has an experience early in life which sets them on a path toward a career, and in the end they achieve their dreams. The reason I enjoyed this book so much was because Tony Dungy is very sincere in portraying his brother's journey to becoming a dentist, and the heartfelt aside at the end of the book was very moving.
The story would be a great addition "You Can Do It! The story would be a great addition to a classroom library because any teacher could point to Tony Dungy and his brother as examples of the importance of hard work and following one's dreams.
